Some Few Remarks Upon a Pod Most Dire (WARLOCK [1989])

It's our second Steve Miner movie in a row, as we're reviewing WARLOCK (1989) in our latest episode!

We thought this would be an interesting movie to discuss after having so much fun talking about HOUSE (1985) in our previous episode, but we bumped it up the priority list after our host Eric watched its sequel WARLOCK: THE ARMAGEDDON (1993). A review of that sequel is coming up soon (with a very special guest!), but before then we'll have our Halloween special, and Jake announces his pick for that episode at the end of our WARLOCK chat. In the meantime, we had a great time discussing a terrific script from David Twohy, along with some scenes trimmed from the original script, the directorial work of Steve Miner, and of course the fabulous central performance by the late Julian Sands. We really hope everyone enjoys this one.

And as always, thanks so much for listening!
