Episode 11: All Things Bright and Spherical (The Phantasm franchise)

For our eleventh episode, each of our hosts picked a movie franchise for contention and let twitter decide the winner. Nick's candidate was Phantasm, Jake's pick was Final Destination and Eric's was Species. Phantasm won by a wide margin, so in this episode we cover all five movies in the franchise. And appropriately enough for a series that often focuses on the relationship between two brothers, Jacob's brother Jeremiah (of ComicsComicsComics.blog) came along for the ride on the first two movies! Topics range from the inspiration for the original movie, tales of sibling trauma including piledrivers and lost shoes, the Tall Man's potential sports prowess, proper leg positioning and much much more.
