Episode 4: Retrospectus (The Movies of Mike Flanagan)

Ep4Grid.png

This time around, the Scary Stuff trio focuses on five movies from one of our favorite directors: Mike Flanagan. We start with his breakthrough horror movie Absentia (2011), then review the long-delayed Before I Wake (2016), the tense thriller Hush (2016), and finally a duo of Stephen King adaptations: Gerald's Game (2017) and Doctor Sleep (2019). Rest assured, we have plans to cover Mike Flanagan's other horror works Oculus, Ouija: Origin of Evil and The Haunting of Hill House in the future. In the meantime, please enjoy this discussion of five works from a contemporary horror master, and stay tuned to the end of the episode for two special announcements! And as always, thanks for listening!!
