Ham Steaks and Peanut Noir (After Midnight [2019] with Michelle Swope)

Happy Valentine's Day from all of us at the Scary Stuff Podcast! This year we're using the holiday as an excuse to review a movie that we all love here at the pod: After Midnight (2019) from directors Jeremy Gardener and Christian Stella! Appropriately enough the movie has a bit of history with Valentine's Day, as its wide release date was February 14, 2020. And it was also the first movie officially released under the banner of Rustic Films!

It's a real delight to talk about this movie on the pod, and even better to do so alongside a fabulous guest: Michelle Swope! Michelle is a member of the North Carolina Film Critics Association, has written for Dread Central, Nightmarish Conjurings, and is currently writing for Scream Horror Magazine and Daily Dead. We're huge fans of Michelle's work here, and she's a huge fan of After Midnight, so this recording was tremendous fun.

After you've listened to the episode, be sure to check out Michelle's Authory page at the link below, and keep an eye on BloodyDisgusting.com for her upcoming column titled DEAD Time!

And as always, thanks so much for listening!!
